My community is goofy but wholesome. We like to be chaotic and loud or cozy and relaxed. We are incredibly supportive of LGBTQ+ members and we value having talks about mental health and adulting in general.
While my interpretation of "horror" is different from traditional perspectives, horror interests me because of its ability to evoke a wide range of emotions. To me, horror captivates gamers and viewers with its environmental immersion and emotional impact. Like thriller games, horror keeps people on their toes but invested in a game’s journey.
Horror games that spend time solidifying these aspects rather than focusing purely on loud, flashing jumpscares make me love horror and the world-building aspects around it. Like many genres, horror loves to “bend rules” by integrating other game genres (ex: cozy horror) while staying rooted in its unique cast and universe around it.

My community is incredibly chaotic and amazingly welcoming. As a bilingual person, I have several people in the community that only speak Spanish, and my community is so welcoming and open to those conversations and learning from one another and from myself. We laugh a lot, create so many clips of amazing plays and terrible fails, and just overall have a good time while spamming the sound alerts.
Horror has been something I have shared with my mom since always. We find it to be kind of therapeutic because it allows you to scream your heart out, followed by all the laughter in the world (great stress-relief), because yes, we just got scared by an image in a screen. This feeling also translates to gaming! I was always too scared to play horror games, but ever since I started streaming, I feel like I have my emotional-support chat with me and we get to be scared together, just like I did with my mom when watching horror movies! We get to scream, laugh, and have some amazing times... and every now and then some heart attacks

I love horror because...Jump scares…as a “giant” it is a very entertaining experience when I’m frightened by something spoopy in a video game. While in my younger years I didn’t really do Halloween or other events around the theme, but as I have gotten older I have found comfort in the genre. The openness and diversity in the spectrum that is horror brings a significant amount of inclusivity and freedom for expression. And I love the feeling of sharing the fear with others and while gaming it’s so fun. I love the adrenaline rush. It’s important to me because growing up I was always so scared. I grew up a very sheltered life and now I’ve become more courageous and I genuinely think my exposure through horror games and movies has helped significantly. You get a sense of control with the horror genre. Now they're a comfy thing for me
My community is loud, weird, and loyal. They’re consistently at every stream, whether it’s planned or not. They’re mostly made up of queer neurodivergent people, and I believe they would consider my stream to be a safe space for them.
